Events in Bern and around the world

Sarah showcased her PhD project at the "8x8' - Junge Forschende erzählen" event organised by the Vice Rectorate Research of the University of Bern and the MVUB. Early careers scientists who received a grant (for the PhD Coalition, in Sarah´s case, together with Lauriane and Kaila from DCBP) have been invited to present their research to a non-specialised audience. Paola was invited to the 19th Swiss Snow Symposium 2023 in Saas-Fee organised by the Young Swiss Chemical Society. Sarah won the Best Poster Award! (January 2023)
Ivo presented a poster, then selected for a flash talk, at the 7th International Symposium on Phospholipids in Pharmaceutical Research. Well done, Ivo! Paola chaired the Young session and awarded the Best Posters and the Thudicum Young Scientist Award. (September 2022)
Part of the Luciani group was at the Swiss Chemical Society Fall meeting 2022 in Zurich, the first in presence for us since we moved to Bern! Simone presented his work on LMPs and Marianna and Gregor presented posters on their PhD projects. It was a great event! (September 2022)

Paola was invited to share the latest results of her research in Bern at the CRS German Local Chapter (www.controlledreleasesociety.de) in Munich on Feb 20-21 2020. Her invited talk "Sustained release injectable depots based on the in situ aggregation of liposomes” opened the session “Formulation Technology”. Great Bavarian dinner and stimulating scientific discussions, looking forward to the 2021 session in Aachen!
